Main description
Maternity Cover
We are excited to offer an opportunity within our dedicated Work Placement team. For this post, an interest or previous experience in Digital or Public Service sectors would be advantageous but not essential. In this role you will assess and guide students during their placement and play an integral part in ensuring they are equipped to develop essential employability skills.
This is an incredibly rewarding position best suited those that enjoy developing strong business relationships and providing exceptional customer service to support business needs. All whilst being effective in engaging with and supporting students and employers - establishing excellent working relationships with students regardless of age, ability, and support needs.
The successful candidate should have the ability to identify opportunities and possess strong persuasion skills. A driving licence and access to a car are essential as the position will involve visiting employers and students on placement.
Entry requirements
- Good general standard of education.
- A relevant Health and Safety qualification or the willingness to work towards one
Preferred Skills
- A good communicator at all levels.
- Able to give presentations to large groups of people, for example, students or colleague professionals.
- Be able to establish excellent working relationships with staff and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Be able to establish excellent working relationships with students regardless of age, ability and support needs.
- Competent to use Microsoft Office.
- Ability to drive with access to a car as the position will involve visiting employers and students on placements.
