Main description
Terrace Dental provides clinical excellence in restorative dentistry, implant, cosmetic, sedation, oral surgery, TMJ and teeth straightening. Our renowned services and dental expertise are utilised in our skilled approach to the individual needs of each patient. They are currently looking for a Dental Nurse apprentice to join their team.
Main Duties:
Greeting patients and making sure they are comfortable and safe
Preparing items used for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness
Assisting in delivering patient care
Keeping records and taking notes
Supporting the dentist or senior dental professional
Entry requirements
GCSE grades 4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent - Essential.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Dental nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
HEP B vaccine will be mandatory as well as a DBS check. Applicants must 18 years of age or older.
Future Prospects
Opens possibilities to higher education such as hygiene and dentistry courses. Also lots of courses as a registered dental nurse such as radiography, oral health educator, Implant Nursing and Orthodontic Nursing, internal progression, TCO, Practice manager wherever you want it to take you
