Felixstowe Mega DC

The Felixstowe Mega Distribution Centre (FMDC) is the latest addition to Uniserve’s warehousing portfolio. A clear demonstration of our commitment to both innovation and investment, this giant 750,000 sq ft ambient and freezer distribution centre has changed the UK logistics landscape forever.

The significance of the FMDC is not simply what it is, but where it is. Introduction of huge new capacity into a space-starved warehousing market is one thing, but when that capacity is housed less than a quarter of a mile from the UK’s largest container port, it is a genuine game-changer. For the first time ever port-centric logistics at scale is a reality for businesses moving cargo through the Port of Felixstowe.

Training and development

Uniserve leads the way for staff development, with training programmes provided by our group members – the Supply Chain Academy and CP Training Services – all of which are available to each and every one of our employees.
