Apprenticeships
TMJ are enthusiastic about apprenticeships and welcome the right candidate to join our exciting team.
If you are eager to learn, develop new skills, take pride in your work and have an appreciation for attention to detail then we would love to hear from you. Apprenticeships are a great way of starting a career, working alongside experienced professionals whilst training at the same time.
TMJ have apprenticeship schemes available across the company including opportunities within our Design, QuESH, IT, Estimating and Surveying Departments, Purchasing, Accounting, Scheduling, Office Management and within our workshop.
As one of TMJ’s apprentices you will be working on some of the most prestigious projects in the United Kingdom, providing specialist joinery for both high end residential clients and commercial clients such as Sky, Expedia, NBC Universal and Estee Lauder.

Training
We actively encourage all employees to partake in training schemes. TMJ takes the upmost pride in developing our employees to become the very best versions of themselves both professionally and personally.
Our G A Training Centre is a fully functional training centre that is used for both in-house and external training. The Centre offers facilities for up to 24 seated trainees, including conference call and presentation capabilities. It also incorporates various environmental and sustainable initiatives in line with our ethos to protect the environment, including motion detecting lighting and solar panels. The training Centre is an adaptable and collaborative space for our team and clients.
TMJ boasts our specialist one-day training course that offers both a practical and theoretical insight into joinery and how we take an idea from conception to reality. We also encourage employees to partake in training including, Mind Mental Health Awareness and Management courses to not only enhance operational productivity but also benefit their personal development.
