About us
The Financial Wellbeing Academy is committed to improving financial futures.
The UK Government has set targets to improve all aspects of financial wellbeing by 2030. At the Financial Wellbeing Academy we are committed to playing our part in supporting the UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing.
Employers can do their bit, by supporting teams and colleagues with their financial wellbeing and education. That's where we come in!
At The Financial Wellbeing Academy, our mission is to empower businesses and organisations to support their employees’ financial wellbeing. Through education, workshops, training and consultancy, we strive to create a future where everyone has an opportunity to improve their financial confidence and resilience, without shame or judgement. We believe that financial strength is a fundamental right, regardless of income, job title or position, and we are committed to creating a world where this is a reality for all. "

Kim
Having worked in investment management for over 30 years, Kim Uzzell hung up her corporate lanyard in late 2021 to focus on her passion of delivering financial training and support to more people through coaching, mentoring and the provision of financial awareness.
Kim has also navigated her own journey of financial ups and downs, of trying to achieve what she thought was expected by others, avoiding the important conversations with those closest to her and starting, yet again, with all the best of intentions to get it right.
It is this combination of “real life” and professional experience that provides the unique combination of financial wellbeing training, support and education that gives real results to all those who Kim works with. Whether on a 1:1 or group basis, she aims to eliminate the taboo around money and create an ever stronger environment where people are comfortable talking about their finances and educating their children to do the same, so they can achieve their financial goals and a more resilient financial future for themselves, their families, and their wider communities.
