Careers
Secure Stores Nationwide was launched in January 2021, and have already experienced rapid growth, with sales of almost £5m in their first year of trading. As the business continues to grow, Secure Stores hope to be able to offer employment opportunities and work experience placements for local young people looking to develop their careers.
Secure Stores is run by Sarah Manning, who is now in her mid 30’s, but started in this industry at a young age, in a junior position, at a local Shipping Container Sales & Rental company. Sarah progressed within that business over 13 years to eventually run the business and own part of it. The business was sold in 2016, and Sarah continued to work for the new owners for several years, before launching Secure Stores Nationwide. Sarah is particularly passionate about providing opportunities for young people, as she herself realises that young people need to be given a chance to develop their skillsets and progress. Without someone once believing in her, she wouldn’t be running her own business today! Secure Stores firmly believe that the most important attribute in any employee is a willingness to learn.
