About Julie

Julie Turner-Adkin, the found of Healing Possibilities, holistic journey began in 1994 when she studied Therapeutic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology. (Association of Natural Medicine. ANM)

In 1995 she studied Aromatherapy to use the healing properties of the essential oils, with her massage techniques. (International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies. IIHHT)

In 1996 Julie studied Reflexology and was amazed that her client's bodies really were mapped out on their feet!! (ICHT)

Now, flash forward to the present day, Julie is qualified in an array of areas including:

• Crystal Healing
• Rapid Healing
• Gua Sha therapy, a Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Level 2 Counselling Skills (Psycho-spiritual)
• Usui Reiki Master
• Sound Healing & Therapy Practitioner

Julie believes that we all have the knowledge to heal ourselves - we just seem to have forgotten, but by re-awakening this ability, we can, once more, take control of our own destinies.

Julie's careers advice:

"know you can choose a career you absolutely love.  There of course may be times work is chosen for practical reasons. But to know work can be joyful is something I was slow to learn."

Working in the Healing industry:

To begin with, you could work with people and develop understanding of psychology through a counselling study. Learning massage, reflexology skills and Aromatherapy also is a great way to build knowledge. Starting in beauty and hairdressing may be a link in too. Healing and helping others comes in many forms. 

Sound therapy is becoming key to health in repairing the body through vibrations. If you have a love of music generally this can lead you into this area of work. 

Anyone can move into Reiki, Crystals and Sound therapies. Usually the courses are over 2 days with further home study and practice follows.
