About Us
Local Support for Local People.
Making a Better Community - Bringing People Closer Together.
Hadleigh Foodbank was founded in 2019 and has continued working hard with the assistance of our members and volunteers to help individuals in our local area. Our work has evolved over the past 3 years and due to the growth of the Charity, it became apparent that the name Hadleigh Foodbank Charity did not fit with all that we do, as we have diversified our support in so many ways. We officially formed a charity in September 2020 but changed from Hadleigh Foodbank Charity to Fresh Start Charity.
Fresh Start Charity is dedicated to funding and delivering charitable services to our local community and we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance. Get in touch to learn how you can make a difference at our Charity.
Apprenticeships
Promoting positive change
Since April 2021, we have expanded and opened a further two charity shops located at Kersey Mill, Hadleigh & Ipswich. Our Ipswich shop is called Fresh Start & Coffee which has been designed to support 16–24-year-olds identified as NEET, (Not in Employment or Education), with a 6-month programme to provide work experience, and much needed transferable skills into hospitality and the retail work place environment.
When we have availability we will be offering Apprenticeships in Customer Service or Hospitality. To find our latest vacancies visit our apprenticeships page.
