About us
SCA is managed by a team of Early Years Professionals with over 38 years of experience in childcare, which includes managing a large childminding setting.
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, efficient and valuable support to these childminders to enable them to offer the best possible childcare for children and their families. For us, this is exceptional pastoral care that promotes the wellbeing and personal development of children, alongside a high quality education which builds on children’s abilities, targets next steps and prepares them for their eventual move to school.
SCA was established in Suffolk in 2016 by Claire Chapman and has now expanded to cover a large area of the country. Claire has been a registered childminder for over 20 years. She is a working mother of four, a grandmother and has BA Honours in Early Years and qualifications in Accountancy and Management.
Recognising the need for higher quality, more regulated and better supported childminding settings across the UK, SCA's vision is to ensure better care, experiences and education for children and their families by creating a network of excellent childminders who are trained to enable all children to achieve their fullest potential in a safe and supportive environment.
As on Ofsted registered Childminder Agency, we aim to offer parents high quality childcare by:
- Registering quality Childminders and Assistants on domestic and non-domestics premises
- Providing regular support, training, and networking opportunities to SCA registered childminders and other professionals working in the childcare sector

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

SUPPORT
Registering with SCA will allow you to grow your childminding business with the backing of a larger organisation. Whether it’s emotional or practical support you need, we are always just a phone call away.
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANCE
As a childminder with SCA, you are self-employed and will be running your own business. We will take care of some of the more mundane tasks, allowing you to focus on looking after the children in your care.
CHILDMINDER TRAINING
We provide training for all of our childminders, and are passionate about helping you in your professional development.
