Bishop & Miller are a specialist auction and valuation firm with over 20 years of experience in the Art, Antique and Auction world.
Founded by Oliver Miller in 2015, Bishop & Miller has since grown to a 21-strong team with expertise across a broad range of specialist areas.
We have salerooms and auction galleries in the historic market town of Stowmarket, Suffolk and Glandford in picturesque north Norfolk. Bishop & Miller hold regular fine art and antique sales, specialist auctions, no reserve auctions, and timed auctions.
Services
Bishop & Miller offer a nationwide service and hold regular valuation days around the country as well as house calls. Our full service and expert guidance, whether it is a single item for valuation and auction or probate and insurance valuations is provided by a team of dedicated professionals, on hand to help customers with every aspect of the auction experience.
We employ antique experts including auctioneers and world-renowned specialists. Our team is not limited to the UK, with links to firms in North America, Europe and beyond this gives us a reach far beyond our physical locations.
Sellers
We offer a free valuation service for any item brought into the Saleroom where an appointment with the appropriate specialist is advisable. If customers have a number of items or a house contents, one of our Valuers can visit the home. Goods are normally sold at the auctioneers' discretion, though we are happy to agree a fixed reserve price with the seller.
Buyers
All our auctions are on view at least two days prior to the sale and details can be found on our website or on www.the-saleroom.com. Registered bidders can bid in the sales room, via the internet, telephone or via commission bidding where bids are executed on a customer's behalf by the auctioneer.
