About us
Anglia Indoor Kart Racing has been established for more than 20 years. During that time we have earned a reputation for providing the finest high-speed entertainment in the area. With our indoor racing karts and exhilarating multi-level circuit, we bring the thrills of motorsport to all adrenaline-seekers.
We are a founder member of the National Karting Association (NKA). The National Karting Association ensures stringent annual safety checks are made on the circuit, karts and all safety procedures associated with indoor karting.
Our Karts are easy to drive, with no gears or clutch pedal – simply brake or accelerate! Our fleet consists of kubz karts, cadet karts and adult karts.
Kubz Karts (5-7yrs): Battery operated for use on our kubz mini circuit
Cadet Karts (8yrs+): 6hp 200cc petrol engines – with the capability to restrict speed for beginners and an adjustable seat position to accommodate children from 127cm (4ft 2”) in height.
Adult Karts (16yrs+): We have just invested in a new main fleet karts. These karts are Biz NG1 model with a 270cc Honda LPG Engine. Our Monday night fleet has been replaced with the Biz Evo model with 6hp 200cc LPG engines – both models have the capability of reaching speeds of up to 40mph making them the fastest indoor karts in the region.
Careers in Karting
Anglia Karting employs a small team of dedicated enthusiastic staff to cover all elements of the business. From part time front of house and marshaling staff to race directors, mechanics, event staff and managers, what links them all is their commitment to the business and to excellent customer service. As a small business everyone works together across a broad range of tasks and as such it’s a great place to develop a range of skills and breadth of knowledge in karting, finance, marketing, customer service, bookkeeping, social media, maintenance, events, health & safety etc. etc.
We support work experience placements and apprenticeships and are happy to talk to anyone interested in learning more about the karting business. We also support the Dare2bedifferent initiative which aims to encourage women to look at the wide variety of career opportunities in Motorsport.
Both company Directors sit on the Steering Committee of the National Karting Association, one as National Health & Safety Advisor, the other as Chair of the Indoor Committee.
