A Sustainability Consultant is a professional who works closely with companies, businesses, and government bodies to provide advice on becoming more socially and environmentally responsible. They create sustainable solutions that benefit the environment and do not hinder the organisation's success.
Most sustainability consultants will have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in areas such as business sustainability, sustainable energy, or sustainable finance. Degrees in related subjects such as geoscience, ecology, environmental science, or biology could also be helpful as they provide transferable skills.
You could also get into this role through a Level 6 Environmental Practitioner apprenticeship.
The expected salary range is £22k (entry level) to £100k (senior leadership)
