A sustainability analyst will work with a business or organisation to help them understand and improve their social and environmental impact. They will have knowledge of the government's net zero ambitions and will assess and interpret a wide range of data, from environmental impact studies to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to guide companies toward practices that are not only profitable but also environmentally sound and socially responsible.
As a sustainability analyst, you would be expected to hold a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or have experience working on sustainability projects as a researcher or analyst. You could consider an environmental-related apprenticeship.
Salary range - £22k (entry level) to £70k (experienced)
