Job Description
The Helideck Assistant will support landing and departure of helicopters which carry personnel to and from offshore installations or vessels, they will work as part of a team that supports safe landings of helicopters offshore in various weather conditions and will also form part of the emergency response team as well as many other duties.

- Helideck Assistant Certificate (OPITO Standard)
- Basic offshore induction and emergency training (BOSIET)
- Offshore Medical Certificate
- OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Standards (MIST)

- Helicopter Refuelling Certificate (OPITO Standards)
Career Path and Progression
Once you have experience you could progress to a team leader or become a Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO).
