A Fashion Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing each stage of the production process, from raw material acquisition to delivery of the final product. This involves planning, sourcing, negotiating, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. With sustainable fashion on the rise and eco-friendly brands gaining popularity, supply chain managers will need to consider prioritising organic and recycled materials. Timing is crucial in this position to ensure that products are ready for delivery at the right time to meet demand.
A degree in a relevant subject such as supply chain management, business management or similar will be beneficial.
Entry without a degree is possible by starting in an entry level role such as purchasing assistant or trainee buyer, or you could take a supply chain apprenticeship.
Expected salary range £27k (entry level) to £53k (experienced)
