Main description
This is a great time to consider an Apprenticeship with CLAAS UK, with the need for skilled people within the agricultural industry rising as technology continues to advance. As a forward thinking business, we recognise the need to provide practical experience to a new workforce, alongside a structured learning programme at our Academy in Saxham.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Practical experience in warehousing duties including picking and packing parts, stock check and goods in.
- Administrative experience including parts procurement, material management, claims handling and parts marketing.
- Customer service experience including order processing, backorder management, lead time chasing and Logistics solutions.
Entry requirements
GCSE or equivalent in Maths (grade 4) and English (grade 4)

Training to be provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
Level 2 Trade Supplier Apprenticeship Standard
Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required
14-month Apprenticeship Programme including End Point Assessment
Attend the CLAAS Academy in Saxham, Bury St Edmunds for block release training 4 x 1-week blocks, plus monthly virtual classroom sessions
Future Prospects
Dependant on performance could be offered the opportunity to continue on a career path within CLAAS where you will have lots of future potential to further progress within the company
