Title: Finance Apprentice
Annual Wage: £15,000
You will join our friendly team based in Ipswich and receive support and training to develop your skills and support your ambition to reach your potential.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Apprentice role will be to assist in the day to day activities of the finance department whilst developing the skills needed to achieve the AAT level 3 qualification. This is a varied role which will provide you with exposure to all key parts of a global finance team. These duties will include:
- Purchase & sales ledger processing
- Effective record keeping
- Providing support with month end reconciliations and analysis
The company will support weekly day release to our study partner, Suffolk New College, to complete your apprenticeship. If you have a passion for numbers and are dedicated and want to learn then we want to hear from you!
Desired Skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly
- The ability to communicate both verbally and written throughout all levels of the business and to customers
- Excellent administration and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work
Desired Personal Qualities:
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in Finance
- Personable, presentable and articulate
- Flexible and possess the willingness to do what’s required and support the team
- High attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
4 GCSEs including Maths and English grades 9-3/A-E or Functional Skills Level 1 is preferred
