Nail technicians or manicurists offer treatments to customers such as nail art, filing, polishing and extensions.
You might be.... offering manicure and pedicure treatments, cleaning, polishing and filing nails, applying or repair false nails, tips and enhancements, decorating nails with coloured varnish, doing transfers, gems or glitter, advising customers on nail care and products, storing chemicals correctly and following strict hygiene rules.
Requirements include:
- great customer service skills
- ability to work well with your hands
- active listening skills
- excellent verbal communicator
- flexibility and openness to change
- to be thorough and pay attention to detail
- ability to sell products and services
- patience and the ability to remain calm
- to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
