Main description
Would you like to work for one of the most successful construction and infrastructure companies in the UK? Are you looking for the chance to gain a qualification whilst earning a wage?
We have a fantastic opportunity to train as a construction site supervisor, gaining a nationally recognised qualification in our energy business unit and have five places available
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
You will be given exposure to the below and much more:
- Setting out of civil engineering and building works
- Health & Safety
- Minimising the environmental impact of construction projects
- Recording, control and reporting of progress on a construction project
- Understanding how to manage and motivate a team
Where you’ll work
To be geographically mobile – as our projects are UK wide and can be in rural and remote locations you will need to be able to commit to visiting sites across England, Scotland and Wales, staying away from home on a regular basis
Training to be provided
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Your training plan
Construction Site Supervisor Level 4.
Alongside the day-to-day role, you’ll attend college on block release in the Midlands every 6-8 weeks to develop your technical knowledge and skills and learn from others in the industry.
Entry Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in: English (grade 4 or C) and Maths (grade 4 or C)
Desirable qualifications
BTEC in: Engineering or construction (grade Pass)
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
