Main description
What you will do in your working day
You will be working in different environments at various locations learning to provide:
- Installation
- Servicing
- Maintenance and Commission of Intruder alarms
- CCTV
- Intercom systems
- Gate automation and Access control systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial properties
Entry requirements
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4) Desired
Desired skills and personal qualities
Attention to detail, IT skills, Customer care skills

SKILLS FOR SECURITY LIMITED
Apprenticeship standard
Fire emergency and security systems technician Level 3 (A level)
Skills for Security will deliver the Level 3 apprenticeship.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
Things to consider
This is a 36 month apprenticeship, full commitment is needed.
