We are waste management specialists, with over 25 year’s experience. We are now based in Rougham just outside Bury st Edmunds. We have a team at Cargate covering a variety of roles from Tanker drivers, to engineers, and CCTV rig leaders. We use the latest in CCTV drainage condition survey equipment. Our current equipment can survey all pipework.
Main description
Cargate Engineering Ltd are waste management specialists, with over 25 years' experience. We are now based in Rougham just outside Bury St Edmunds. They are currently looking for an apprentice CCTV Rig Operator to join and learn within their team.
Main Duties:
1. Driving a R/C CCTV unit in drainage.
2. Assisting with CCTV operative tasks.
3. Morning Muster at Yard.
4. Learning how to compose condition reports
5. Composing
5. Composing of schematic drawings (IT Generated)
6. Maintenance of work equipment
7. General Yard & vehicle upkeep
8. Assisting Over roles within the organisation
9. The position will fit in with a small working team

Maths and English grades 5-9 - Essential.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College
Things to consider
Benefits can include Monthly Bonuses. Works Social events. It can involve time working outside. It can involve driving between sites. There can be periods operation the camera and computer. Overtime: outside standard hours above scope paid at £10.00 per hour.
Future Prospects
On completion of the qualification, it can lead to a full time Role, as a CCTV Rig Leader.
