About the Role
Seafast is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team in Felixstowe. This role involves overseeing stock levels, conducting counts, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Ideal hours of work will be Monday - Friday 14.00 until 22.00, however these can be flexible as long as 18.00 is covered
Key Responsibilities
Conduct stock counts across various on-site environments.
Obtain and maintain MHE licenses for stock counting tasks.
Perform cycle counts and update WMS stock quantities.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily stock control tasks.
Support department administration and maintain good communication.
Assist with day-to-day business activities as needed.
Investigate stock errors and report findings.
Maintain department records and databases.
Monitor customer stock needs and availability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience
Excellent attention to detail
Strong drive to see tasks through to completion
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in both office and warehouse environments
Understanding of warehousing and supply chain processes
Good time management skills
Adaptability, drive, and a proactive approach
