About
Employer description
@inc is a brand of the Mid Anglia Enterprise Agency (MENTA), Suffolk and Norfolk's leading enterprise agency.
We're a co-working business space based in the heart of Bury St Edmunds, alongside our sister site in Southwold. Our sites bring together a growing community of entrepreneurs, freelancers and small businesses, supported by a team of business advisers, marketing colleagues and site coordinators working together across our locations. We also have two additional MENTA sites across town in Bury St Edmunds and in Brandon, home to a wide range of tenants from private offices to fitness, beauty and tattoo studios.
MENTA is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing business advice and support across Suffolk and Norfolk for over 40 years, helping local entrepreneurs turn ideas into thriving businesses.
Main description
This is a brilliantly varied, hands-on role — no two days look quite the same. You'll be the friendly face that greets everyone who walks through our door, the go-to person keeping our unstaffed business unit sites running smoothly behind the scenes, and a key part of the team helping our workshops, funders and delivery partners come together. If you like variety, enjoy talking to people, and don't mind wearing a few different hats in one day, you'll feel right at home.

• Manage bookings through our booking app, handling enquiries by email and phone.

• Remotely handle enquiries for our unstaffed business unit sites.
• Liaise with staff diaries to arrange viewings.

• Liaise with our delivery team and partner organisations.
• Schedule workshops, coordinating with Eventbrite and the wider team.
• Follow up after workshops and one-to-one meetings, with emails and calls to clients.
• Assist with some of our event delivery on the day – this will require flexibility to work slightly adapted hours when necessary
Skills required
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• You're confident, friendly and genuinely enjoy chatting to people.
• You communicate well, whether it's a quick call or a written email.
• You're comfortable picking up new systems — CRMs and booking apps.
• You can work independently, use your initiative.
• You're proactive, flexible, and pay attention to the details that matter.
• You like being part of an easy going and supportive team.
