What a day we had yesterday!
In celebration of #NationalManufacturingDay, we stuck to tradition and opened our doors to local school children for tours and demonstrations.
With around 275 pupils from 6 schools... It was a jam packed day with many of the Warren team helping out (thank you Ella Cade, Mia Nixon, Suzie Birch, Louis Lummis, Gavin Bidewell, Kieran Stewart, Sophie Hall and Jed McConochie!)
At Fison, students got to see the welding areas, a visual demonstration of a robot welder, and they got to help the quality department measure some parts using CMM equipment before seeing the laser working as well as turning and milling machines.
Over at Brickfields they were split into three groups, swapping every ten minutes. They were shown around the paint shop, electrical mechanical assembly area, assembly areas, and the Sapphire designated spaces (balconies). They also got to build Warren branded lego minifigures.
