We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in marketing while gaining valuable hands-on experience within the construction industry.

Main description

As a Marketing Apprentice, you will support the marketing and business development team in promoting the company’s services, projects, people, and achievements. You will gain experience across digital marketing, social media, content creation, events, and internal communications while working towards a recognised marketing qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and the company website.
  • Help develop project case studies, news articles, and company updates.
  • Support the production of marketing materials, presentations, brochures, and award submissions.
  • Monitor and update website content to ensure information remains accurate and engaging.
  • Capture and organise project photography, videos, and marketing assets.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and internal communications.
  • Support the organisation of company events, exhibitions, careers fairs, and community engagement activities.
  • Visiting live construction sites.
  • Help track marketing performance and prepare basic reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain project information.
  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects the company’s brand guidelines and values.
  • Assisting with social value reporting and analysis.

Entry requirements

Essential

  • GCSEs level 5 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and willing to learn.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interest in marketing, communications, and digital media.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.

Desirable

  • Experience using Canva, or similar design tools.
  • Interest in construction, architecture, sustainability, or the built environment.

  • Creative thinker with fresh ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
