22nd January 2025

Jackson workers have been praised for volunteering for good causes near the company’s headquarters in Ipswich.

Jackson is again sponsor of the Suffolk Christmas Tree Recycling scheme on behalf of the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and St Elizabeth’s Hospice.

People pay to have their old Christmas trees picked up from their home and recycled responsibly at Jimmy’s Farm near Ipswich. Monies raised go to these wonderful organisations who carry out such vital work in the community.

Father and son team, general foreman Graham Jones and his son, site operative Ethan, were among those collecting truckloads of trees in the early days of January. The initiative is expected to raise more than £20,000.

Anna Bruce, a Senior Corporate Fundraiser at EACH, said: “Graham and Ethan were great across the two days. They were happy to get stuck in and help wherever we needed them. A brilliant reflection on Jackson Civils as a company and we were so glad to have their help.”
