Seafast Logistics, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import Operations Assistant to join our team in Felixstowe. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth import processes for our customers.
About You
You will have 1 - 2 years relevant experience.
You are a strong communicator, both internally and externally.
You maintain a positive attitude and professional approach at all times.
You are a team player who is adaptable and embraces change.
You have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
You are proficient in MS Office and eager to learn relevant customs and port systems.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain positive relationships with our import customers.
Process import clearances efficiently within a 2-hour turnaround time.
Assist with raising T1 entries.
Accurately complete CHEDs/IPAFFs pre-notifications.
Arrange import declarations.
Claim UCNs from the port system.
Complete assigned training courses.
Manage and update job file costs and charges.
Generate duty invoices promptly.
