Main description

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:

Cash Management

  • Co-ordinate payment authorisations with managers, code and post costs to Movex
  • Record all bank transactions, post sales ledger receipts, direct debits and payments
  • International payments, and Euro cash book payments, code and post to Movex

Purchase & Sales Ledger

  • Maintain sales ledger, posting receipts, credit control activities, raising sales invoices and prepare customer
    statements for all sales
  • Maintain purchase ledger, obtain necessary approvals per the DoA, code and post purchase ledger invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers and managers regarding queries
  • Maintain all employees’ expenses, checking receipts, company/private car mileage and manager authorisation,
    code and post to Movex
  • B2C transactions, post receipts from Adyen portal and reconcile
  • Raise manual invoices as and when required

Other Finance responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling queries to finance inbox (email and telephone)
  • Accruals and prepayment maintenance and posting
  • Issuing POs and maintaining PO register
  • Maintain Wholesaler spreadsheet
  • Run regular General Ledger routines as required

Entry requirements

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Experience of ERP computer systems
  • PC Literate to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent English language

Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with a 1 hour lunch
break
