Main description
Kickstart your career with Siemens Healthineers as an EHS Apprentice. Earn a Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Technician Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience at our Sudbury site, supporting a team that keeps our workplace safe, compliant and running effectively building real-world skills for your future.
What you'll do at work
- Supporting day-to-day Health & Safety activities across site
- Helping to keep systems and records up to date (e.g. incident reporting and documentation)
- Assisting with analysing data such as accidents, near misses and safety observations
- Supporting inspections, audits and compliance checks
- Getting involved in investigations and learning how risks are identified and managed
- Assisting with training activities such as inductions or safety updates
- Working with colleagues across different teams
- Getting involved in improvement activities to help make processes safer and more effective
- Supporting wellbeing initiatives across the site
- Building your skills using digital tools, systems and Microsoft Office
Training to be provided
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Training schedule
Training will take place on-site at our Sudbury facility, supported by blended delivery including live webinars, online learning and distance learning. Training is delivered regularly alongside your on-the-job experience.
More training information
You will complete your Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Technician Apprenticeship with an approved external training provider. The programme combines structured learning with workplace experience and includes regular progress reviews and assessments.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in: English (grade 5) and Maths (grade 5)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
As an EHS Apprentice, you will work alongside our Environment, Health & Safety team and gain exposure to a range of environments including manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and office settings so you should be comfortable working in a variety of environments.
An interest in health & safety or compliance would be helpful but is not essential.
