Rainbow Bright is a small, privately-run setting which was established in 1994 by the owner, Tracy Mason. The nursery provides care for 0-5 year-olds all year round. Our ethos is to promote positive learning outcomes for the children, enabling them to transition through nursery and onto school
Main description
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
Our next apprentice will work as a proactive member of the Rainbow Bright Day Nursery staff team. They will provide high quality care and early years learning experiences for babies and children - in line with our current philosophy, aims, policies and procedures.
Being alert and aware at all times is extremely important, as well as demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude with excellent timekeeping. We are looking for an apprentice who is motivated to join a team with a positive attitude, looking to support children to promote best outcomes.
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Early years practitioner (level 2) Equal to GCSE

Desirable qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in: Maths and English (grade 4)

- We are looking for an apprentice who can commit to our working hours of 8.00 am to 6pm across various shift patterns:
- Full day shift- 8.00am -6pm with 30 min break Half day shift- 8am -1pm or 1pm-6pm
- You will also require a DBS

A permanent position may be offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
