Main description
We are looking for two Apprentice’s to join our team in Cambridge and be part of an amazing opportunity on a 2-year fixed term contract during which you will complete a Level 4 Software Tester Apprenticeship. If you're passionate about pursuing a career in Software, Engineering, or Technology, and have studied a relevant course (Computer Science, Engineering or IT for example), this is the perfect opportunity for you.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You'll play a vital role in our Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Team, receiving comprehensive training to validate our latest WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity chips, ensuring they meet the highest standards. You'll be involved in executing tests, reproducing customer issues, configuring hardware, raising bugs, and assisting developers in collecting data for debugging purposes. With a focus on Android platforms, you'll work closely with firmware, drivers, and host code developed by our talented team.
Key Responsibilities
Execute tests as directed by the Test Team and provide prompt feedback on results
Maintain and support software test equipment and systems
Reproduce customer issues and gather relevant logs

Training to be provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
