Main description
Manufacture and installation of Induction melting equipment. IGBT inverters up to 2mw, furnaces up to 5000kg capacity plus all water-cooling systems, hydraulics and pneumatics to suit. Installation mainly throughout the UK.
Manufacture and assembly of mechanical and electrical components from various materials.
Mechanical and electrical assembly of Inverters, furnaces, hydraulic desks, fans, pumps and cooling systems.
Working alongside existing engineers both in the workshop and on-site during installation work.
Once fully trained as a mechanical/electrical fitter to assist with manufacture, assembly, installation, service and repair on all types of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment manufactured by the company.

GCSE English and Maths grade 5 to 9 - Essential

Engineering Fitter Level 3
Things to consider
A keen interest in mechanical and electrical engineering is essential.
The position is approximately 90% workshop based and 10% site based. This can vary slightly depending on workload schedule.
If working away overnight accommodation and meal expenses etc are covered by the company
Future Prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship a full-time position will be offered to the candidate. There will be further in house and on-site training and the opportunity to progress within the company.
