Main description
Sealey is 100% family owned and operates from its premises on the Suffolk Business Park in Bury St Edmunds. The brand has a global reputation for Innovation, Quality and Aftersales Service and is trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Since being founded in 1978, Sealey has grown to be one of the largest tool and equipment suppliers in the UK, with over 12,000 products. It is an exciting time to join Sealey as we embark on our expansion plans, which will see our site grow from 21 to 28 acres.
Main Duties and responsbiltiies:
- Responsible for the administration of accurate and timely processing of supplier and other company payments, including other basic accounting functions
- Registering supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Processing UK and international payments.
- Supplier account reconciliations.
- Telephone and email correspondence.
Entry requirements
GCSE Maths and English at level 5 or above - Essential.

Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Accounting Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
The role is office based and mainly involves working on a computer.
Future Prospects
The role provides a first step to working within a purchase ledger department. Future opportunities include continuing to work in different capacities within the purchase ledger team and progressing there, or moving to a different role within the accounts department.
