About Us

WTW is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth. With roots dating to 1828, WTW has 45,000 employees serving more than 140 countries and markets.

We design and deliver solutions that manage risk, optimize benefits, cultivate talent, and expand the power of capital to protect and strengthen institutions and individuals. Our unique perspective allows us to see the critical intersections between talent, assets and ideas — the dynamic formula that drives business performance.

Early Careers

Get real-world experience. Collaborate. Innovate. Whether you’re a graduate, current student or someone looking to find a rewarding alternative to university, we have opportunities for smart, talented people to build their careers.

WTW is a place of possibilities. A place where people are encouraged to challenge convention and achieve things for our clients that have never been achieved before. Where change is constant and no two days are the same. Where there are endless opportunities for you to venture outside your comfort zone, and to learn, develop and grow.

Teamwork is a major part of life here. Whether collaborating face to face or operating as part of a virtual team, our people work together and support each other to find the best solutions for our clients.

Another key feature of our environment is trust. We trust our people to work independently. We empower them to find new solutions. And we give them the freedom to achieve what they want to achieve – for our clients, for our company and for themselves.

Apprenticeships

If you want to continue learning, growing and exploring but you’re not sure whether university is right for you, an apprenticeship with us could be the perfect solution. With comprehensive training, support from mentors and buddies, and the chance to gain a fully funded professional qualification, you’ll be well on your way to building a successful career. Even better, you’ll have a real job with a competitive salary from day one, with immediate opportunities to work alongside our graduate employees, tackling the same challenges and projects that they do.

A WTW apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for you to earn while you learn. You’ll spend an average of approximately one day a week training towards a professional qualification. The rest of the time, you’ll be working in one of our business teams, experiencing first-hand how we partner with our clients to find smart, innovative solutions to the challenges they face.

Examples of the kind of work you could be involved in include:

  • Advising a leading high-street retailer on how to invest their employee pension funds
  • Defining and securing sufficient insurance cover for an airline
  • Enabling our insurance clients to spread their own risk effectively

Each of our apprenticeships comes with its own unique challenges, so it’s definitely worth checking the program you’re applying for to make sure you meet the specific requirements of the role. Wherever you join us, you will need to be ready to start contributing from day one and committed to building up your skills, knowledge and experience throughout your time at WTW.

Internships

At WTW, we offer students real-world business experience that is hard to find anywhere else. With offices all over the world, a breadth of business functions and supportive experts at every turn, there’s so much to discover about us and yourself.

Our internships are designed to give you maximum insight into our business and the best possible preparation for your future career. You’ll apply what you’ve learned at university to real-life intellectual challenges. You’ll gain exposure to client assignments. You’ll do work that takes you out of your comfort zone and offers you something new and unexpected every day.

We have opportunities for interns in each of our four business segments:

  • Benefits Delivery and Administration
  • Human Capital and Benefits
  • Corporate Risk and Broking
  • Investment, Risk and Reinsurance

Alternatively, you could experience life at the heart of our business by exploring opportunities in Corporate teams such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and IT.

You need to be on track to graduate from an undergraduate or master’s degree program between December and June.

Graduates

We have opportunities for you to join our two-year development program in any one of four business segments: Benefits Delivery and Administration; Human Capital and Benefits; Corporate Risk and Broking; or Investment Risk and Reinsurance. Alternatively, you could experience life at the heart of our business by exploring opportunities in Corporate teams such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and IT.

From day one, you’ll go into a real role with real responsibilities, giving you exposure to client assignments and enabling you to build up valuable experience and skills. Over the course of the program, you’ll have opportunities to gain exposure to different aspects of our business and will be able to gain a solid understanding of what we do and how we do it. This is underpinned throughout with technical training and professional qualifications supported by senior leaders.

The aim of the program is to help you gain the industry experience, technical knowledge and consulting skills you need to thrive here. Whichever area you join us in, and wherever in the world you are based, the work you’ll be doing will constantly stretch your ability to analyze data, think creatively and find original solutions to client challenges. You’ll also have opportunities to network with senior leaders and take part in group exercises with your graduate colleagues.
