It’s a career that brings lots of variety and no two days are ever the same. You will spend time out on site, as well as in the office, and the range of projects is extremely diverse.
One day, you might be carrying out a topographical survey for a new building, the next it could be monitoring at a major heritage centre. Our work is cross-sectoral too, including healthcare, education, retail, leisure and residential housing.

TRAINEE POSITIONS
We welcome those looking to make a career in surveying to join us at different stages of academic achievement, with multiple entry points from school-leavers of 18 years of age through to graduate trainees.
Right away you’ll join one of our teams and be on-site quickly, supporting a senior surveyor. On-the-job training means you earn as you learn, and you get the opportunity to progress as fast as you wish. We’ll support you as you work towards becoming a member of our qualified surveying team, with your own portfolio of projects.
That’s not all. As members of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), we have developed our own Approved Development Scheme which is accredited by the CICES. You will be actively encouraged and supported to complete this training scheme, which will develop your skills and competencies and enable you to achieve a formal accreditation.
