Superstructures is a practice offering structural engineering and design services in the East Anglia area. We pride ourselves in providing structural engineering with freshness and flair. Our strong design background means that we are just as excited about the aesthetics of buildings as we are about their structures. We are passionate about providing a detailed, comprehensive package of information for every project which streamlines the construction process, adds economy and reduces risk. We believe every project, large or small requires the same uncompromising approach in order to add as much value by means of the structural design solution as possible.

Our Services

• Superstructure design
  The design of the structural elements above ground.
  
• Substructure design
  The design of the structural elements below ground.
  
• Site inspections
  The majority of our projects start with an inspection of the site, or in the case of extensions, alterations and conversions - an inspection of the existing structure.
  
• Ground investigations
  All ground investigations are undertaken by specialist Geotechnical subcontractors. Our role here is to oversee the organisation of them to ensure that the most appropriate investigations are carried out. 
  
• Drafting and detailing
  Superstructures is renowned for providing excellent drawings and details.
  
• Concept consultations 
  If structural concepts and issues are discussed before the design progresses too far, we can help to streamline the overall process and make substantial project savings.
