Jack Richards & Son is a national road transport solutions provider that prides itself on customer service and reliability.

For over 60 years, we have been successfully caring for our customers and their road transport needs, working from strategically located depots across the country. Privately owned and independently run, we operate road haulage services around the UK, palletised-load distribution across Europe and the UK as well as localised warehousing and storage.

Our contract logistics customers range from the largest multi-nationals to medium-sized family-owned enterprises. We also engage the services of competent and trusted haulage subcontractors to ensure that the needs of our customers are looked after in confidence and a timely manner. While our Palletline service customers use us to ship anything from a single pallet throughout the UK, right through to large consignments full pallet shipments to destinations across Europe.

Though diverse, these customers are united by one thing – the shared expectation of a professional and competitive transport service. This is what we deliver.

Today, our years of experience are enhanced by the latest vehicle and office-based technologies, DVSA approved testing facilities and JAUPT-approved Driver CPC training. All supporting one of the most modern and environmentally focused fleets of curtain-sided vehicles on UK roads. The result is a dedicated approach that brings the highest transport standards to customers both large and small.

From long-standing contracts, involving the movement of hundreds of thousands of tons of high value loads, to single and multiple pallet movements and warehousing too, Jack Richards & Son has been leading the field in transport services for over 60 years.

Our business approach is a very personal one, with both Jack Richards and his son, Anthony, involved daily in the business at a senior level. They are supported by a team of experienced executives, managers, drivers and administrators who all know that it is respect for the well-proven Jack Richards standards that has kept our customers coming back for more.

We have two main offices; our head office in Fakenham, Norfolk and a regional office in Northwich, Cheshire. In addition, we operate from 12 depots across the UK which form bases for our fleet of professional LGV drivers.
