J K Construction Ltd is a Suffolk based Groundwork & Civil Engineering Company offering reliability, good value and great customer service.
We're involved in many aspects of the construction process including excavation, foundations, concrete floors & aprons, roads and drainage construction within agricultural commercial and industrial sectors. We undertake all sizes of projects, including full scale agricultural and industrial projects and all types of domestic private works.
Services
Concrete floors are one of the most important elements in modern industrial and commercial buildings. Expectations of clients are high and the performance criteria demanded relies heavily upon the expertise of the specialist concrete flooring contractor.
Working for us
We're a small/medium sized, friendly-run company, headed by our director and former Golf Professional Kevin Earp. We work all over East Anglia…Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Sometimes we even venture further, where you'll be paid extra to eat and sleep in hotel…after work that is!
As you'll see from our services, our main works involve groundworks to agricultural, commercial, and domestic buildings. Groundworks can include many specific jobs like foundations/concrete pads excavate and fill, oversite construction, drainage installation, concrete works, driveway/apron installation, as well as prep work for other builders and contractors.
Our landscaping and concrete works are significant too, and can include fencing, turfing, patio laying, garden walls, gabion walls, French drains, decking, block paving, gravel and many other things!
Our people
We need our employees to be versatile and willing to learn aspects of many of the jobs mentioned here, but no one is asking you to be specialist of all the above! In time though, you will be!
Our main aim is to give the client exactly what they want at the highest spec we can achieve within their budget. To do this, we need people with good listening skills, good teamwork, patience, and at times, perseverance.
We provide all our employees with the adequate PPE and training certificates required to cover the works, including diggers, dumpers, compaction rollers, handling abrasive wheels, CSCS, SSSTS and SMSTS cards, first aid anNVQs in site specific jobs - amongst many other certificates.
