A Sustainable Packaging Manager is responsible for identifying ways to make packaging processes and materials more environmentally friendly and sustainable. They possess a comprehensive understanding of packaging materials and their role in the final product, as well as knowledge of biodegradability and recyclability at the end of its use. Additionally, they ensure that packaging adheres to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
To become a Packaging Manager, it is usually necessary to have relevant experience in the field. You could enter this profession by completing a Level 6 apprenticeship or by pursuing a degree in a related subject such as business, procurement, or supply chain management.
Salary range £39k to £61k
