A Supplier Quality Engineer will assess quality, ensure all products are defects-free, and comply with engineering and manufacturing specifications and government standards. They will work to resolve any quality issues and provide guidance on process enhancements and improvements.
Sustainability will be a key consideration when building a supply chain and supply quality engineers will need to consider if suppliers can measure and monitor their carbon emissions.
To become a supplier quality engineer, you will need a degree in engineering, science or logistics. Many universities offer a four-year course that will allow you to complete a one-year industry placement.
Salary range £34k - £46k
