The Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for procuring products and services while considering sustainability, risk management, and ethical considerations. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product.
There are various routes to becoming a Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager. You may find it useful to do a foundation degree, higher national diploma, or degree in subjects such as supply chain management, business management, purchasing and supply or logistics and procurement.
You could get in through an apprenticeship or you may be able to join a company in a junior role and work your way up.
