An Operations Manager for heat pump related technologies oversees the daily operations of heat pump services and installation teams, ensuring the smooth operation of the department and that installations, repairs, quotes and customer services meet the various standards required. Replacing gas boilers is key to reducing our carbon output, with heating currently contributing to over a third of the UKs emissions. Operations managers will also help with the development of the wider team, conducting appraisals and scheduling training, as well as overseeing stock and liaising with relevant teams, like sales and marketing.
To become a heat pump operations manager, you will need a good set of GCSEs and will likely benefit from business or customer service related qualification at Sixth Form or College level. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of renewable technologies and heat pump products, good people skills and have experience of team and project management.
Salary range: £40,000-£50,000
